She's the most beautiful girl I know, inside AND out. We've been friends for 11 years, and I can't imagine a better person to have on my side!

Lastly - but not least...ly? - I danced my ass off last Friday night (on speakers at the bar) wearing the following:

I have no eyes. Oops. And it was dark. So umm. Bad combo. (And also, bad photo quality.)

Handcuff necklace - gift. Black tank - Bootlegger. Orange knit shirt - Urban Behavior. Bracelets - bought in China (jade; on left wrist); Claire's (silver; on right wrist). Black liquid leggings - Sirens.

BAD IDEA. Layers on top + skintight bottoms + blister-inducing flats (not pictured, but they're damn cute and leopard print!) + jumping around on speakers = PAIN AND COPIOUS AMOUNTS OF SWEAT. Needless to say I probably scared off more than a few cute guys with my stench and horrid facial expressions of pain and heat exhaustion.

So, all in all, a fun time.

On another note, because Canada is apparently BATSHIT INSANE, it snowed yesterday. (No, not even "snowed": it blizzard-ed. 9 inches of snow? IN APRIL? knothanx.) So, although I'm angry that I can no longer wear the awesome sunglasses and tanks I bought mere weekends ago for spring, I did have an excuse to break out some of my favorite cuddly clothes.

Ironically, I've been surviving on dangerously-low amounts of sleep lately. It's just that these PJ pants are so damn comfy!

Got the hoodie over the weekend at a Welcome Weekend at the university I'm attending in the fall. (You can't tell from these photos, but it's black and purple, so basically my favorite color combination ever. Nbd. Also fleecy and warm. ^^') It was SUPER SUPER fun! I met tons of awesome people (and extremely attractive boys!), got to pick out my room, signed up for classes, and partied it up - college style. (Lemme tell you, high school parties suck in comparison!) So super psyched to go there in September!

Oh, and p.s. Homework is slowly consuming my soul. Rescue mission would be much appreciated!

Found these today while in the city on a band trip for school. Only $15 @ Mars & Venus, and probably the best thing I've ever bought. My friend J (who also bought sunglasses at the same store, but his are giant translucent wings) and I had a lot of fun sitting by the window in a cupcake shop, eating and watching peoples' reactions to our sexy shades as they walked by. :D All in all, it was a good day!

a. I'm really digging neutrals this season, which is strange for me because I like to wear a lot of strong, poppy, bold colors.
b. WHITE oxfords and cropped boyfriend jeans have been on my lust list for AGES but I sadly haven't been able to purchase either one yet... there is a home in my closet for you two, y'hear?
c. Totally digging the butterfly necklace, like WOAH. Statement jewelry will rule this spring!
d. I'm loving the updates on cool classics, like substituting metal -> plastic way-farers, bomber -> cropped leather jackets, and printed -> studded gladiators. These classics have gotten a trendy update, but will always remain timeless in essence!
e. Working at a pool gives me an excuse to own multiple (and often impractical) bathing suits, so I think a crocheted one-piece is long due.

Scored these on Boxing Day, too. $19 CAD. Adorable and warm as hell (made out of wool from New Zealand). Supposed to be owls, but I personally think they look more like deranged bunnies, with those weird ears and all.











A gift from my amazing (if a bit eccentric) Aunt. She said she saw them at a craft sale and "knew" I would love them. She's right! :D
